The Year in Review: Poetry 2020

2020 had more than its share of challenges; from the Pandemic, to the Elections, our word was upended more times than we could imagine. But poetry continued to sustain us, and poets continued to provide us solace against the dark, and lent its illumination in so many ways, to so many people. Here are a few lists of some of the Best Poetry collections of this discordant but always hopeful year. Here’s to a 2021 that will continue to keep poetry at the fore, and here’s to each of you who contribute to the art.
